Eligibility:

  1. The candidate must have passed the Senior Secondary Part-II (10+2) Examination and should have appeared in CUET (UG) -2024 for the required papers. Candidates who did not apply for CUET (UG) 2024 will be given a fair opportunity in the Late Entry Round of the admission for left over seats.
  2. Seat allocation to all UG Programs will be based solely on the scores obtained in CUET (UG) – 2024 and for late entry round merit obtained in 12th class will be considered.

How to Apply:

Step-1: Online CUET (UG) 2024 Registration:

  • Candidates must read carefully the instructions (including how to fill up the application form online) given in the Information Bulletin available on the NTA Website: https://cuet.samarth.ac.in candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
  • Candidates can apply for CUET (UG) – 2024 through the “Online” mode only on the website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/ The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
  • Click on the ‘Apply’ button on the portal and choose the program you wish to apply for.
  • Fill up the Personal/Education/Address Details and Declaration on the Application Form. Upload Photograph & Signature.
  • Select College and Courses of your choice and make payment and note down the username/password and system-generated application number for future reference.
  • Appear in the CUET (UG) 2024 as per the schedule notified by NTA in this regard.
  • On declaration of CUET (UG)-2024 result by NTA the candidate has to participate in Common Seat Allocation System-2024(of Higher Education Department, Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir) @ https://jkadmission.samarth.ac.in/.

Step-2: Participate in Common Seat Allocation System-2024 filling of APPLICATION FORM thereof:

  • CUET (UG)–2023 Application Number will be mandatory for application form filling. Name, signature, and photograph of the candidate will be auto-integrated from the CUET (UG) – 2024 portal. These fields will be non-editable.
  • For students who did not appear in CUET (UG) – 2024, they have to register themselves on the same portal @ https://jkadmission.samarth.ac.in/ by filling the application form on the admission website. A fair opportunity to candidates will be provided after admission of CUET candidates is closed.
  • Candidates must fill all the sections of application form carefully. The details entered must match with the particulars mentioned in the certificates/documents of the candidate.
  • Candidates must ensure that email and phone number filled in by him/her are valid and belong to the candidate or his/her immediate family members.
  • Candidates must ensure that clear readable documents are uploaded, the candidate must submit the form after filling complete details.

Step-3: Filling the preferences for programs/Courses.

  • Login to his/her user account @ https://jkadmission.samarth.ac.in/ and navigate to the programme section on the Dashboard.
  • The candidate must select the UG Programs in which he/she is willing to take admission.
  • The candidate must take utmost care while selecting the Program/s. It is in the interest of the candidate to choose as many programs as he/she wishes to join, provided he/she fulfils the Program-Specific eligibility of the selected programs. Only the Programs selected by the candidate during the Preference-Filling phase will be considered for allocations and upgradations (if any).
  • The candidate must confirm the Program-Specific CUET (UG) 2024 score for all the Programs selected by him/her, if eligible.
  • Before submitting, the candidate must ensure that the order of preferences is as per his/her choice. Editing the Program/course preference list after the deadline for the Preference-Filling phase will NOT be allowed.
  • Course/Seat allocation to the candidate shall be done as per his/her preference exerted on the portal.
  • The Highest Possible Preference will be provisionally allocated to a candidate considering the following criteria:
    • Program-merit list
    • Category.
    • Availability of seats

Step-4:- SEAT ALLOCATION AND ADMISSION

  • On declaration of the allocation/merit list/s, the candidate must check the lists carefully and log on to his/her user account for acceptance of the allocated seat, if offered.
  • It is the responsibility of the candidate to login to the dashboard and check if a seat is allocated in a given round of seat allocation, and if allocated he/she must complete all admission formalities. Student will get two options on his/her dashboard either.
    1. Accept: means the student is satisfied with the seat allotted to him/her and he/she is proceeding for final admission.
    2. Upgrade:(only if choice/preference is other than first choice), means the Student is not satisfied with the allocated seat and wishes to participate in the next round for upgradation to higher preference.

Step-5:- Final Admission and Document Verification

  • After allocation of preferred seats, students have to visit the college with the following documents for physical document verification within the scheduled time slot and date allotted. They also must choose additional subjects such as minors, multidisciplinary courses (MD), skill enhancement courses (SEC), value-added courses (VAC), and ability enhancement courses (AEC) (Separate notification will be issued for counselling schedule).
    • Original Higher secondary school leaving/character certificate attested by the principal concerned.
    • Self-attested photocopy of secondary school examination (10thclass) certificate as a proof of DOB.
    • Self-attested photocopy of higher secondary school examination Part II (12th Class) marks certificate.
    • Undertaking by the student and guardian on the provided format.
    • Fee paid receipt
    • Photocopy of certificate from the competent authority of being Orphan / Physically challenged or belonging to reserved category (if applicable)
    • Migration certificate (if applicable)
  • The College admission committee will verify the following:
    • Minimum eligibility of the Candidate.
    • Program-Specific eligibility of the Candidate.
    • Validity and authenticity of documents/certificates submitted by the Candidate.
  • If the college admission committee raises any queries during the Document Verification process, it is mandatory for the candidate to fulfil them within the specified timeframe.
  • After document verification, the College will either ‘Approve’ or ‘Reject’ the provisionally allocated seat of the candidate.
  • After seat approval, Payment link on student dashboard will become active and student has to pay admission fees within desired time. The admission process will be treated as complete only after successful payment of the admission fee.
  • If a candidate fails to pay the admission fee within the stipulated time, it will be considered as a cancellation of the provisionally allocated Seat.
  • Admission of a candidate will be deemed confirmed only after the successful realization of the Admission Fee. The admission fee must be paid only through the candidate’s dashboard. If the admission fee is not successfully remitted within the stipulated time, the admission will not be considered complete under any circumstances. For all payments, candidates should use any of these payment modes: Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card/ UPI.
